About Me...
Hi, I'm jeanne! Welcome to my little corner of the digital world. I'm currently an americorps resident teaching artist. My passions include literary fiction, cooking, and television. I'm always coming up with little stories in my head and attempting to put them on paper. Welcome and thanks for being here!

Writing
Here are some of the pieces I’m working on
Excerpt: It’s like I’m a stranger going outside of my body to observe what the real Lonnie would do. The fake Lonnie wants to climb into a box of mini-wheats and never come out. Lay in a bed of wheat and sugar and find comfort in the darkness.
Excerpt: Maggie, I cried. Another baby!
The other one no longer needed me to hold its head, was that why I had done this? Did I always need someone to hold? Maggie was the only source I trusted.
Excerpt: There is a small drain that occupies the middle of the boat’s floor. It doesn't seem to have a purpose, but I imagine myself all shrunk, liquified, and dripping into it.
The Place We Didn’t Die- Novel
